Model Alliance Support

Models, we’re here to help. Through Model Alliance Support, we assist working and aspiring models with complaints about inappropriate on-the-job conduct, agent issues, and other work-related problems.

Unemployment Insurance

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Model Alliance has created a tailored guide for models who are seeking information about how to file an unemployment insurance claim. We have included information relevant to New York, California and Florida, as these are the states where most models in our community are based.

Health Care

We at the Model Alliance are thrilled about our health care partnership with the Center for Frontline Retail. You can make a FREE appointment with the Health Care Access Program (HCAP) to determine if you qualify for free or low-cost health insurance through the New York State of Health Marketplace.

RESPECT Program

We believe the fashion community occupies a power platform to campaign for transformative change. Together, we can improve the fashion industry from the runway to the factory floor.

Black Lives Matter

The national reckoning on race makes it more urgent than ever to examine and combat systemic racism in the fashion industry. Real change starts with listening to those who have experienced racist practices firsthand, and who have a stake in making sure their rights are respected.

Child Models

Effective November 20, 2013, child models who live or work in New York State are covered by NY's Labor Law and applicable regulations as child performers. Parents and/or guardians must obtain valid Child Performer Permits for their children, so their child models are eligible to work in the state.
